Άνοδος / Rise [Ελληνικά – English]

Άνοδος. Άνοδος του ευρώ των χρηματιστηρίων εδώ και παντού, άνοδος των αγορών. Και ελεύθερη πτώση ηθική και οικονομική μιας ολόκληρης χώρας, ενός λαού που έγινε χθες εικόνα και αποτυπώθηκε συμβολικά εντός και εκτός κοινοβουλίου.

Οι εικόνες του Γλέζου και του Μικη κάνουν τον γύρο του κόσμου. Οι εικόνες της φλεγόμενης πόλης. Αυτό που βίωσαν οι εκατοντάδες χιλιάδες αυτόπτες μάρτυρες της χθεσινής μέρας και νύχτας, (ό,τι αριθμό κι αν δίνουν οι αρχές, αστυνομικές και μιντιακές). Όλοι εκείνοι που από τις 5 πριν καλά καλά φτάσουν οι περισσότεροι, όχι στο Σύνταγμα, μα και στους γύρω δρόμους, ψεκάστηκαν εκ των προτέρων και a priori από ένα φοβισμένο κράτος, από μια ανύπαρκτη αχυρένια πολιτεία. Εκ των προτέρων μια και εκ των υστέρων θα ήταν πολύ αργά.

Όχι για το «κυνοβούλιο» και τους κατοίκους του που έβλεπαν μπάλα στο καφενείο της Βουλής, όσο οι άνθρωποι πνίγονταν στα δακρυγόνα αλλά για την ίδια την συλλογική εμπειρία. Γιατί κανείς δεν μπορεί να ξεχάσει την στιγμή της “ένωσης” του πλήθους. Τη στιγμή που το πλήθος γίνεται κυψέλη και παράγει βούληση θέληση και συναίσθημα.

Rise, Rise of the euro currency, of the stockmarkets in Greece and worldwide. Rise of the markets. And…Fall. Free Fall ethical and economical, of an entire country, symbolically outprinted digitally inside and outside the Greek parliament.

Images of Glezos and Mikis travel all around the world. Images of the city in flames. No camera can capture the feeling though. The high sentiment that hundreds of thousands of people – eye witnesses all – experienced this last day – night.

People, who were tear gassed with chemicals since 17:00, even before setting foot to Suntagma square, but approaching from near streets as well. People who were gassed a priori, by a petrified governement and a non-existing thatched state. Gassed a priori, just to be sure, because any delay would be too risky.

Too risky, NOT for the safety of the parliament members – spectators of the football game at the time-, socializing at the parliament cafe, while the crowds were being chocked with gasses. But risky for allowing the creation of a solid collective experience, the true bonding that no paticipant can forget.. Cause when a crowd becomes a hive, then at that sacred moment, it will produce all the acting will, all the emotion, to alter its reality, to change future at its will.

Now tell me, isn’t that “frightening”?
